Important Notice: Confidentiality in Placement Workbook

Dear Students,

I wanted to bring to your attention an important matter regarding confidentiality when completing your placement workbook during your work experience.

It has been noted that in some sections of your workbook, you have used the actual names of residents/clients you interacted with during your placement. To uphold confidentiality and privacy standards, it is crucial that you refrain from using real names in any documentation, including placement workbooks.

Action Required:
Please review your workbook and replace any actual names with pseudonyms or generic identifiers (e.g., Resident A, Client B). This helps ensure that sensitive information remains confidential and complies with ethical and professional standards.

Importance of Confidentiality:
Respecting the privacy of residents/clients is a fundamental aspect of healthcare practice. By maintaining confidentiality, we uphold the trust placed in us by those we serve and adhere to legal and ethical standards.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Kind regards
